Telangana’s Hasini Reddy wins U-16 girls’ title at National Deaf badminton championship

Telangana shuttler Hasini Reddy clinched the girls’ under-16 singles title at the 10th National Deaf Sub-Junior Badminton Championship in Chandigarh and also secured a bronze medal in mixed doubles with partner Arman.

Hyderabad: Telangana’s Hasini Reddy won the girls singles (under-16) title defeating Kavya of Chattisgarh 21-16, 21-11 in the final of the 10th National Deaf Sub-Junior badminton championship in Chandigarh.

Hasini paired with Arman in the mixed doubles category, where the duo settled for a bronze.


Hasini is trained by Olympian Sumeeth Reddy at the Indian Badminton Academy in the City.
