Hyderabad: Whether you run a startup in Hyderabad or are an entrepreneur from any other part of Telangana, the government’s new portal is here to support and mentor your innovation.
The unique one-stop startup portal launched by IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao is being praised as a support mechanism that will not only help entrepreneurs working out of Hyderabad but also innovators from other districts of the State.

“The portal is combining the different initiatives the State has been strengthening since its formation. Whether it is WE Hub, T-Hub, RICH, or TSIC, the government has always been the biggest cheerleader of startups and innovators. And now with this Startup Telangana portal, it is just combining the different elements of the ecosystem into one thread and providing the much-needed platform for entrepreneurs in not just Hyderabad but also Telangana. A startup – whether it is in the early-stage or the mature startups – will always need support and entrepreneurs will have queries. While we are supporting startups through our walk-ins and other programmes, this portal will extend that scope further,” says Deepthi Ravula, CEO, WE Hub.
Startup Telangana is a one-stop destination for the entire startup ecosystem in the State. The portal will cater to all startup related services in a time-bound manner, including startup recognition, grievance redressal, mentorship, and incentive disbursement mechanism. It will also act as a central place for knowledge dissemination about the State’s support to startups.
Accurate and detailed information about the startup ecosystem of Telangana and all related government orders, policies, circulars, and schemes will be available on the portal.
“The portal is a big boost to the ecosystem. Especially early-stage startups can largely benefit from the resources and access to mentorship. T-Hub and WE Hub are already accelerating the startup movement in Telangana. A central portal will further improve the efforts by the government and get them closer to the founders,” says Rakesh Munnanooru, founder and CEO, WhistleDrive.
Echoing similar views, Sri Charan Lakkaraju, founder, Stumagz appreciated the government’s efforts to support the startups at every step of their journey. “The fund announced by the State will boost the morale of startups and innovators and many entrepreneurs from other States are also eyeing a place in the ecosystem here in Telangana,” he adds.
