Telugu film producer Shilpa arrested on cheating charges in Hyderabad
Police sources said Shilpa had allegedly collected several crores of rupees from film personalities, filmmakers, realtors and others in the form of investments by promising them high returns and cheated them.
Hyderabad: The Narsingi police have arrested Shilpa Chowdary, a film producer from the Telugu film industry on charges of cheating.
Police sources said Shilpa had allegedly collected several crores of rupees from film personalities, filmmakers, realtors and others in the form of investments by promising them high returns and cheated them.
Following a complaint, the police booked a case and arrested her.
Officials suspect there are more victims.
