Hyderabad: The Directorate of Enforcement Vigilance and Disaster Management (EV&DM) of GHMC on Monday penalised a Telugu news channel in Banjara Hills and a restaurant in Kukatpally.
A penalty of Rs 1 lakh each was levied on both these establishments for erecting unauthorised advertisement elements above 15 feet in height from ground level.
Meanwhile, two political party representatives from different parties were also penalised Rs 5,000 each for raising unauthorised cutouts and banners. The penalties were imposed based on the complaints reported on Twitter.
