Telugu stars who flew to Isha for Maha Shivratri
“I have been planning to come to Isha for many years but somehow it didn’t happen. Even this year I was shooting when my friend phoned me suddenly and asked me if I would like to go. So here I am – I felt Shiva called me here this time,” said Lavanya.
Hyderabad: Going by their pictures on social media, it seems like Telugu film stars celebrated Maha Shivratri on Tuesday in a grand manner. Lavanya Tripathi flew to the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore where a large number of people gathered to spend the holy night.
Lavanya dropped a couple of gorgeous pictures in a yellow salwar suit in the backdrop of the Adiyogi Shiva statue. “I have been planning to come to Isha for many years but somehow it didn’t happen. Even this year I was shooting when my friend phoned me suddenly and asked me if I would like to go. So here I am – I felt Shiva called me here this time,” said Lavanya.
‘Akhanda’ star Pragya Jaiswal was also spotted at the Isha Foundation. She shared that she was feeling “peaceful, calm, and exuberant” just in the presence of Lord Shiva.
On the other hand, it was destination Varanasi for Pooja Hegde on Maha Shivratri day as the actor spent quality spiritual time by the holy Ghats. “Om Namah Shivaya. May we be as fierce as Lord Shiva when it comes to our dreams and as benevolent as Him when it comes to forgiveness,” she wrote on Instagram along with pictures of her in an elegant blue dress.
Meanwhile, the ‘Queen’ of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut, was also seen dancing the night away at the Isha Yoga Center.
