Telugu YouTube personality, actor TNR dies of Covid-19

TNR shot to fame with his YouTube channel 'Frankly Speaking' — through which he earned reputation with various celebrity interviews and shows.

Hyderabad: Telugu actor and YouTube personality Tummala Nageshwara Rao, fondly known as TNR in filmy circles, passed away on Monday after battling against Covid-19 here at a private in the city. He had been affected with the virus for the past couple of weeks and though he seemed recuperating, oxygen levels fell sharply and family members immediately admitted him to a hospital near Malkajgiri.

TNR shot to fame with his YouTube channel ‘Frankly Speaking’ — through which he earned reputation with various celebrity interviews and shows. Later, he also chanced upon acting in films. He was supposed to attend shooting for an upcoming movie ‘F3’ which is being directed by Anil Ravipudi, however, the shooting was abruptly called off due to the surge of coronavirus.

Actor Nani expressed shock over the sudden demise of the television anchor. He wrote on his Twitter handle, “Shocked to hear that TNR gaaru passed away .. have seen few of his interviews and he was the best when it came to his research and ability to get his guests to speak their heart out. Condolences and strength to the family.”
