Temperatures all set to rise across Telangana

Based on the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad, and other weather forecasters, from Wednesday, the temperatures are expected to touch 40 degree Celsius regularly and night will not remain cool anymore

Hyderabad: The time has come to keep your air conditioners primed and ready to go, as the mercury is all set to rise, settling into a full-fledged summer by the middle of this week. Following the dip in early morning temperatures and low humidity, the weather in Hyderabad and elsewhere in Telangana State is coming back to normalcy, with normal humidity levels and steady rise in day time temperatures.

Based on the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad, and other weather forecasters, from Wednesday, the temperatures are expected to touch 40 degree Celsius regularly and night will not remain cool anymore.


The IMD-Hyderabad in its forecast made it clear that the temperatures across all parts of Telangana State will hover from 36 degree Celsius and 40 degree Celsius. Maximum temperature is expected to rise in the coming days. “Dry Weather is very likely to prevail over the State. Mist/Hazy conditions to prevail during morning hours at isolated pockets over Telangana during next 3 days. Maximum Temperatures are likely to gradually rise by 2-3°C during the next 3 days,” the IMD-Hyderabad in its forecast said.

Weather forecaster from Hyderabad, T Balaji on X (formerly Twitter) posted “The streak of record low humidity has come to an end. Normal levels with moist winds from the East are back. Temperature is already clocking 39 degree C to 40 degree C in North and East Telangana State. In Hyderabad, the temperatures have settled at 37 degree C to 38 degree C. In a day or two, by March 11 and 12, temperatures will rise to 40 degree Celsius consistently”.
