Temperatures dip across Telangana as winter peaks

Hyderabad: Mornings in the city and across the State are getting a lot colder with temperatures dipping below 15 degrees Celsius in most areas.
Across Telangana, the lowest temperature recorded till 8.30 am on Friday was at Ginnedari in Kumram Bheemam at 8.0 degrees Celsius, Marpalle in Vikarabad at 8.9 degrees Celsius, Kohir in Sangareddy at 9.0 degrees Celsius and Reddy Palle in Rangareddy at 9.1 degrees Celsius, according to the Telangana State Planning Development Society.
In the GHMC limits, the temperature was lowest at West Marredpally at 12.0 degrees Celsius, Asifnagar 13.9 degrees Celsius and Golconda at 13.9 degrees Celsius.
T. Balaji, a weather enthusiast giving unofficial weather updates on Twitter said there was a severe cold wave with temperatures to drop to 3-5 degree Celsius in parts of Telangana.
