Hyderabad: Days are set to get hotter in the city with the maximum temperatures expected to go up further this week.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of temperatures going above 38 degree Celsius in the next one week and weather conditions would mostly be dry and humid.
On Sunday, several parts of the city witnessed temperatures going over 36 degree Celsius with Nampally, Trimulgherry and Ameerpet recording 36.5 degrees, followed by Uppal, Khairatabad and Saidabad (36.4 degrees).
Apart from days, even nights are likely to get warmer with the minimum temperatures going up slightly. On Saturday night, minimum temperature in the city was 18.6 degree Celsius. In the coming week, minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 20 degree Celsius.
During the last 24 hours in Greater Hyderabad, highest temperature of 36.1 was recorded at Khairatabad, while the lowest temperature was reported in BHEL at 15.5 degree Celsius. Across the State, temperatures in some districts went closer to 40 degree Celsius.
