Hyderabad: With the western disturbance becoming weaker, the day time temperature in the city, and several parts of Telangana has started to soar. While the average maximum temperature in Hyderabad was around 28 degree Celsius until last week, it was recorded at 32.9 degree Celsius on Saturday afternoon.

As per the forecast by Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), the temperatures are likely to soar in Hyderabad throughout the next week. In a few localities such as Uppal, Malakpet, Mehdipatnam, Amberpet, Khairatabad and Jubilee Hills, the maximum temperature can go as high as 33 degree Celsius.

The India Meteorological Department, Hyderabad, predicts that dry weather will prevail over the city for the next few days. The average maximum and minimum temperature in the city is likely to remain around 32 degree Celsius and 19 degree Celsius, respectively.

Meanwhile, the day temperature in a few Telangana districts has already crossed 35 degree Celsius.

On Friday, Wanaparthy and Khammam recorded the highest temperature of 36.5 degree Celsius. TSDPS suggests that the temperature in various parts of Khammam, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Wanaparthy, Jogulamba Gadwal, Suryapet and Bhadradri Kothagudem will remain between 35 degree Celsius and 37 degree Celsius for the next few days.
