Temples getting ready for Vaikunta Ekadasi in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Temples across Hyderabad and surrounding regions have started gearing up for the heavy rush of devotees and to conduct special rituals with religious piety, on the occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi on January 10.
Elaborate arrangements are being undertaken by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) at the famous Sri Venkateswara temples in Himayathnagar and Jubilee Hills.
The main effort by the TTD is to ensure 25,000 to 35,000 devotees who are expected to turn-up at the two temples to have Vaikuntadwara Darshan without any hassles.
Efforts are on to provide quality basic amenities like drinking water and enough counters for smooth distribution of Prasadam at the two TTD temples.
Necessary arrangements are also underway at Sri Lakshmi Narashima Swamy temple, Yadgirigutta and the main darshan event at the Maha Rajagopuram. Similarly, other Vishnu temples, including Chilkur Balaji temple, Birla Mandir, Balaji temple in Alwal and others are being decked-up before Vaikunta ekadasi.
The Hare Krishna Movement (HKM) has taken-up massive efforts for the smooth functioning of grand celebrations of Vaikunta Ekadashi at the Hare Krishna Golden Temple, Banjara hills. The special Vaikunta Dwaram Darshan will start from 5 am on Friday and continue till evening.
The HKM has also lined-up a series of devotional programs, rituals and cultural programs on the occasion Vaikunta Ekadasi. Special arrangements are also underway to provide proper amenities and other facilities for devotees at the two major ISKCON temples in Secunderabad and Abids.
