Hyderabad: A case was registered against ten persons at Keesara police station for drying paddy on the Outer Ring Road service roads.
According to the police, these persons had dumped paddy for drying at the Yadgarpally village Outer Ring Road service road despite the police serving them notices against the practice. The police maintained that it is proving to be dangerous for the motorists plying their vehicles on the Outer Ring Road service roads and accidents are occurring.
“Motorists complained that their vehicles, especially motorcycles are skidding while traversing through the carpet of paddy on the road,” said Keesara police.
The case was booked under Section 188 and 336 of Indian Penal Code.
