Ten Kasturba Vidyalaya students bitten by rats in Karimnagar hostel

Ten girls at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya in Shankarapatnam, Karimnagar were bitten by rats while asleep in the hostel. The injured were taken to the local PHC. Parents have raised concerns over hygiene and student safety.

Karimnagar: At least ten students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) in Shankarapatnam mandal were injured after being bitten by rats while they were asleep in the hostel on Friday night.

According to sources, rats entered the hostel room and attacked the students in their sleep. The injured girls were shifted to the local Primary Health Centre for treatment.
