Ten-year-old boy falls to death in Hyderabad

The victim, Sukender (10), was the son of Sub-inspector Lingaiah, working at the Miyapur police station. According to the police, the child was playing when he accidentally slipped from the balcony of the flat on the first floor.

Hyderabad: A 10-year-old boy died after falling from the balcony of a flat in an apartment complex at Miyapur on Wednesday morning.

The victim, Sukender (10), was the son of Sub-inspector Lingaiah, working at the Miyapur police station. According to the police, the child was playing when he accidentally slipped from the balcony of the flat on the first floor. He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

A case has been registered by the Miyapur police and the body was shifted to the mortuary. Investigation is on.
