Tennis: Rishitha wins ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors – J100 Girls’ singles title
The 16-year-old defeated Aoi Watanabe of Japan with a score of 6-2, 7-5 to win the title. Previously, in the semifinal clash, she defeated Aishwarya Jadav 6-3, 4-6, 7-6, and Sai Jahnavi in the quarterfinals 6-0, 5-7, 6-2.

Hyderabad: Telangana tennis player Rishitha Reddy Basireddy recently won the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors – J100 Girls’ singles title held in Pune.
The 16-year-old defeated Aoi Watanabe of Japan with a score of 6-2, 7-5 to win the title. Previously, in the semifinal clash, she defeated Aishwarya Jadav 6-3, 4-6, 7-6, and Sai Jahnavi in the quarterfinals 6-0, 5-7, 6-2.
In the Junior ITF category, Rishitha currently ranks 215th in the international junior rankings, as she gears up to represent India in the International Lawn Tennis Club (ILTC) Rod Laver Cup to be held in Singapore from December 16 to 19.
