Hyderabad: Tension in old city after group clash, situation normal now

Hyderabad: Mild tension prevailed in Sultan Shahi after some youngsters fought over a minor issue on Thursday night. According to ACP Shahalibanda A. Chandrasekhar, the incident involved two groups from the same locality who were already known to each other.

The dispute reportedly started over a trivial issue and led to a scuffle. Both sides approached the police and lodged complaints, following which cases were registered and an investigation was taken up.

The ACP said the situation was under control and there was no need for people to believe or spread rumours regarding the incident. He appealed to residents not to circulate unverified information and said police were monitoring the situation.
