Tenth standard student dies by suicide in Jeedimetla

Hyderabad: A tenth standard student died by suicide at her house in Jeedimetla on Wednesday night.

Lakka Trisha (15), who was pursuing tenth standard from a private school at Jeedimetla, stayed with her parents and siblings at Ganeshnagar in Chintal in Jeedimetla police station area.

On Wednesday afternoon, the teenager came home from school and reportedly appeared depressed. When her mother enquired the reason,Trisha did not disclose anything and continued with her regular school work.

“On Thursday early morning, Trisha was found hanging to the ventilator in the study room. Her parents suspect she ended her life after slipping into depression over study related issues,” said Jeedimetla police station, sub inspector, Venkat Ram Reddy.
