TG ECET 2026 results declared, 93.60 per cent candidates qualify
The TG ECET 2026 results were declared on Friday, with 93.60 per cent of candidates qualifying the examination. A total of 16,726 students cleared the entrance test, while counselling for admissions is expected to begin in the first week of June

Hyderabad: The Telangana Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG ECET) 2026 results were declared here on Friday, with 93.60 per cent of candidates qualifying in the examination. A total of 17,870 candidates appeared for the entrance test in 11 streams and 16,726 candidates, accounting for 93.60 per cent, qualified.
The results were declared by TGCHE Chairman Prof. V Balakista Reddy along with Osmania University Vice Chancellor Prof. M Kumar and TG ECET 2026 convener Prof. P Chandra Shekhar, and have been made available on the website https://ecet.tgche.ac.in.
Toppers in the respective streams were Rupani Narendra of Nalgonda (Chemical Engineering), Kandlapelli Santosh of Jagtial (Civil Engineering), Gavuthre Asmitha of Komurum Bheem Asifabad (CSE), Akula Vishnu Murthy of Mahabubabad (ECE), Kadidela Bunny of Hanamkonda (EEE), P Guna Sai Ganesh of Medchal (EIE) and Kuppili Nikhil Kumar of Andhra Pradesh (Mechanical Engineering).
Edunuri Puneeth of Ranga Reddy district (Metallurgical Engineering), Samala Mahesh of Peddapalli (Mining Engineering), Sasivilli Shanumkh of Medchal (BSc Mathematics) and Sidra Ruhee of Nizamabad (Pharmacy) have also secured first rank in their respective streams.
Prof. Balakista Reddy said an admission counselling notification would be issued in the first week of June and the enrolment process would be completed by the end of June, with classes commencing in the first week of July.
A total of 10,899 out of 21,200 seats in 179 colleges were filled during the academic year 2025-26. A similar number of seats are expected to be available for the academic year 2026-27.
