TG Ed CET-2026 to be held on May 12, applications to be received from Feb 23
Kakatiya University has released the schedule for TG Ed CET-2026 for B Ed admissions in Telangana. Applications will begin on February 23, and the entrance exam will be held on May 12 in two sessions across multiple centres

Hanamkonda: The schedule of TG Ed CET-2026, to be conducted by Kakatiya University for admissions into B Ed courses for the academic year 2026 in Telangana, has been released.
TG Ed CET-2026 Chairman and Kakatiya University Vice Chancellor Prof K Pratap Reddy announced the schedule at a press conference in the university on Monday. The notification for the test was issued on February 20, and the online application process would start from February 23, he said.
OC/BC candidates could apply by paying an examination fee of Rs 750. SC/ST/PH candidates could apply by paying Rs 550. The last date for submission of applications is April 15. Candidates could apply till April 22 with a penalty fee of Rs 250, till April 27 with a penalty, and till April 30 with a penalty fee of Rs 1000.
Candidates could make changes and additions to the applications from May 2. Those who missed the chance could do so on May 8 and 9 with a penalty fee of Rs 5000. Allotment of examination centres would be done on May 4. Hall tickets could be downloaded from May 9. The online entrance exam would be conducted on May 12 in two sessions at 10 am and 2 pm.
The preliminary key would be released on May 15. Objections would be accepted till May 17. The final results would be declared on May 30. The Ed CET Convener Prof B Venkatrama Reddy, Registrar Prof V Ramachandram, Dean (Education) Prof N Ramanatha Kishan, and the University College of Education Principal Dr Nallani Srinivas accompanied the Vice Chancellor.
The official website of TG Ed CET-2026 was launched on the occasion. Examination centres would be set up at 16 towns, including Nalgonda, Kodad, Khammam, Kothagudem, Sathupalli, Karimnagar, Mahabubnagar, Sangareddy, Adilabad, Nizamabad, Warangal and Siddipet, while Hyderabad would be divided into four parts for conducting the test, the Convener said.
