Telangana TET June 2025 results declared, paper–I pass rate up

TG TET June 2025 results were declared on Tuesday, with 61.50 per cent qualifying paper–I and 33.98 per cent paper–II. Compared to January 2025, the pass percentage has increased. TET scores remain valid for life and are crucial for DSC eligibility

Hyderabad: The Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TG TET) June 2025 results were declared on Tuesday, with 61.50 per cent qualifying paper–I and 33.98 per cent clearing paper–II.

As per the results declared by Education Department Secretary Dr Yogita Rana, School Education Director Dr E Naveen Nicolas and SCERT Director G Ramesh, 47,224 candidates appeared for paper–I and 29,043 qualified. Similarly, 30,649 out of 90,205 candidates who took paper–II were declared qualified.


Results for the exam conducted in 16 sessions between June 18 and 30 have been made available on the website https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in.

The qualifying percentage has increased compared to the TET held in January this year, rising from 59.48 to 61.50 in paper–I and 31.21 to 33.98 in paper–II. However, in comparison with TET 2024, the qualifying percentage has dropped significantly. The TET 2024 recorded a qualifying percentage of 67.13 in paper–I and 33.18 in paper–II.

The TET paper–I is conducted for candidates who intend to become teachers for Classes I to V, while paper–II is for candidates who intend to be teachers for Classes VI to VIII. It is also one of the eligibility criteria for the District Selection Committee, conducted for teachers’ recruitment in government and local body schools in the State. The TET scores are valid for a lifetime.
