TGIIC to set up industrial park at Akkannapet: Minister Ponnam Prabhakar

The park would have agriculture processing industries and would connected to towns such as Warangal, Karimnagar and Siddipet

Siddipet: Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said the Telangana Industrial and Infrastructure Corporation Limited (TGIIC) would set up an industrial park at Akkannapet.

During a review meeting with industrialists and officials at Siddipet collectorate on Tuesday, the Minister said the park would come up on 80 acres with an outlay of Rs.431 crore.

The park would have agriculture processing industries and would connected to towns such as Warangal, Karimnagar and Siddipet.

He further assured the industrialists to take up the issues of Wargal Industrial Park with the government to get the them solved.

Collector Manu Chowdary assured support to industrialists who were coming forward to set up industries at Akkannapet.
