TGPSC Chairman, members to study UPSC recruitment process

Hyderabad: Burra Venkatesham, who recently assumed charge as the Chairman, Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC), has decided to visit the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in New Delhi to discuss UPSC’s examination system, evaluation process and selection procedures, which can be replicated in the TGPSC.
During the visit, Venkatesham, along with TGPSC members, will meet UPSC Chairperson Preeti Sudan and UPSC members on December 18. The TGPSC Chairman spoke to the UPSC Chairperson and discussed various aspects of recruitment systems on Wednesday.
He also spoke to Staff Selection Commission Chairman S Gopala Krishnan on the recruitment process and decided to meet him on December 19 for elaborate recruitment procedures being followed by the SSC.
According to TGPSC, ever since assuming the office, Venkatesham has been studying the systems and focusing on restructuring and strengthening the TGPSC procedures on par with UPSC systems, so as to make them more robust and transparent.
