Hyderabad: The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) on Monday announced that it will reschedule the TGPSC Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) examination to November 7, 2026, for eligible candidates, wherever logistically feasible.
The special arrangement from TGPSC comes in response to representations from candidates regarding a direct clash between the TGPSC exam, scheduled for November 6 and 7, 2026, and the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Junior Engineer Examination, 2026, which will be held from November 2 to November 6, 2026.
To address the issue, TGPSC Chairman Burra Venkatesham took up the matter with the SSC Chairman. Although assurances were given that candidates from Telangana would be accommodated on alternative dates wherever possible, subsequent hall tickets revealed that many candidates were still assigned November 6 for their SSC JE (Civil) examination.
To avail the TGPSC rescheduled date, affected candidates who have been allotted November 6 for the SSC exam and have also applied for the TGPSC AEE (Civil) post must submit three documents, including a copy of their SSC JE hall ticket showing the November 6 date, a copy of their TGPSC AEE application, and their TGPSC One Time Registration (OTR) ID.
The documents must be submitted through the Help Desk at the TGPSC office or via email at helpdesk@tgpsc.gov.in on or before 5 pm on October 30, 2026. The Commission, in a press release, stated that while it relies on extensive logistical arrangements and endeavors to adhere to its pre-announced schedule, the exception was made to address the genuine difficulties faced by candidates while ensuring a smooth examination process.
All concerned applicants are strongly advised to submit their documents within the stipulated time, the TGPSC statement added.
