TGSPDCL assistant engineer nabbed by ACB in Wanaparthy
According to an official release, the Mahabubnagar unit of the ACB nabbed the TGSPDCL official when he was allegedly accepting the bribe to give power connection to a distribution transformer erected at Tirumala Agro Industries in Malkapur of Ganpur
Wanaparthy: The Anti-Corruption Bureau on Wednesday nabbed Kondaiah, an assistant engineer (Operations) of the TGSPDCL at Ganpur mandal, Wanaparthy on charges of demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs.10,000.
According to an official release, the Mahabubnagar unit of the ACB nabbed the TGSPDCL official when he was allegedly accepting the bribe to give power connection to a distribution transformer erected at Tirumala Agro Industries in Malkapur of Ganpur.
The bribe amount was recovered from him and was also tested positive in the chemical test. Kondaiah was arrested and is said to be produced before the Additional Judge for SPE and ACB cases at Nampally, with further investigation still on, the press release said.
The ACB has asked the public to contact its toll free number, 1064, in case of any government employee asking for bribe.
