TGSRTC driver assaulted in road rage incident; car driver booked by Tolichowki police
A man identified was booked by Tolichowki police for allegedly assaulting a TGSRTC bus driver, pushing a conductor, damaging a Ticket Issuing Machine and misbehaving with female passengers following a road rage incident involving a bus and a car.
Hyderabad: The Tolichowki police booked a case against a man for allegedly assaulting a TGSRTC bus driver, pushing a conductor and damaging a ticket issuing machine during a road rage incident.
According to the police, on October 3, the suspect, identified as Zeeshan, was driving a car when his vehicle allegedly scraped an RTC bus travelling from Gowlidoddi to Koti. The bus driver, Mohd Azam, was reportedly obstructed after Zeeshan positioned his car in front of the bus.
Police said Zeeshan allegedly abused Azam and assaulted him causing bleeding injuries. When conductor P Laxmaiah intervened, he was allegedly pushed away. Zeeshan also allegedly damaged the conductor’s Ticket Issuing Machine and misbehaved with female passengers travelling on the bus.
He further allegedly threatened the driver and conductor before leaving the spot in his car. Based on Azam’s complaint, Tolichowki police booked a case and are investigating.
