TGSRTC launches new electric AC bus service from Pragathi Nagar to Waverock

TGSRTC has launched a new electric AC bus service connecting Pragathi Nagar Kaman with Waverock via the ORR. The service includes morning and evening trips through Bachupally, Mallampet and key IT corridor junctions, benefiting daily commuters travelling to Waverock.

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has introduced a new city AC bus service connecting Pragathi Nagar Kaman with Waverock through the Outer Ring Road (ORR), offering commuters a faster and more comfortable travel option.

The 100 per cent electric AC buses will operate via Bachupally Cross Road, Mallampet ORR Exit 4A, Exit 1, Cyient Signal and ICICI Signal before reaching Waverock.

According to RTC authorities, the morning services from Pragathi Nagar Kaman are scheduled at 7.45 am, 8.15 am, 9.15 am and 10.15 am. Return services from Waverock will operate in the evening at 4.15 pm, 5.15 pm and 6.45 pm.

The new ORR service is expected to benefit daily commuters travelling between residential areas in the north-western part of city and the Waverock IT corridor, while also providing a more convenient and eco-friendly public transport option.
