TGSRTC offers 8 to 10 percent discount on buses between Hyderabad -Vijayawada

Hyderabad: To reduce financial burden on passengers who frequently travel between Hyderabad and Vijayawada, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has decided to provide a discount between 8 percent and 10 per cent on its buses that are operating on this route.

RTC officials said that since Hyderabad -Vijayawada route is witnessing heavy passenger traffic, particularly during weekends; it was decided to provide discounts on certain services to reduce financial burden on travelers. The concession will be applicable from Hyderabad to Vijayawada and vice-versa.

If a passenger wants to travel from Hyderabad to Vijayawada on Lahari Non-AC Sleeper cum Seater and Super Luxury services, a 10 per cent discount will be given on the ticket till Vijayawada.

Likewise, on Rajadhani AC buses, an 8 per cent discount was announced. The discount is expected to save at least Rs 100 to Rs 120 per passenger.
