TGSRTC operates 369 bus services from Mancherial, Asifabad to Medaram
TGSRTC is running 369 special buses from Mancherial and Kumram Bheem Asifabad districts to Medaram for the Sammakka-Saralamma jatara from January 25 to February 1. Fares range from ₹440 to ₹590 depending on boarding points

Mancherial: The State-owned TGSRTC is operating special buses from different parts of Mancherial and Kumram Bheem Asifabad districts to Medaram for the convenience of devotees heading to the biennial Sammakka-Saralamma jatara.
TGSRTC officials said 369 buses were being operated from six places in the two districts to Medaram for helping devotees to reach the holy place between January 25 to February 1. While 115 buses were earmarked to Mancherial bus station, 79 buses and 70 buses were allocated to Bellampalli and Chennur towns respectively.
Similarly, 50 buses are being operated between Mandamarri and Medaram, while 45 buses are originating from Srirampur. Ten buses would operate from Asifabad to Medaram. As many as 365 buses were running from the district to Medaram in 2024, while 320 services and 304 buses were marked for the fair in 2022 and 2020.
On the other hand, the fares have been revised. The cost of the tickets is fixed at Rs 590 for travelling from Asifabad to Medaram, while Rs 520 is going to be collected from devotees who board the buses at Bellampalli. Passengers from Mancherial need to pay Rs 440, while Rs 470 is charged for devotees who travel from Mandamarri.
TGSRTC Adilabad Regional Manager Bhavani Prasad has requested the people to utilize the facility.
