Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has intensified transport arrangements for devotees travelling to the Sammakka Saralamma Jatara in Medaram, with Managing Director Y Nagi Reddy on Thursday reviewing the special transport services arranged for the jatara.
He inspected key points along the Uppal to Medaram route and checked passenger facilities at major bus stations.
As part of enhanced safety measures, special child safety centres have been set up at Uppal bus stop and other bus stations. Children travelling to Medaram are being provided with identification tags to prevent them from getting separated from their families.
Nagi Reddy personally interacted with children and affixed ID tags, stating that the initiative would significantly help in ensuring their safety during the pilgrimage.
