TGSRTC to develop 13 modern bus stations under new Integrated Transit System
TGSRTC plans to develop 13 modern bus stations across Telangana under a new Integrated Transit System model. The proposed hubs will offer multimodal connectivity, upgraded passenger amenities, shopping and business spaces, food courts, entertainment facilities and other commercial services.

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) is set to transform bus stations across the State with a new Integrated Transit System model, under which 13 modern bus stations will be developed with upgraded passenger and commercial facilities.
RTC officials said the proposed bus stations are planned to offer multimodal connectivity, enabling passengers to conveniently access rail and other transport services. The facilities are also expected to feature modern amenities on the lines of airport and commercial complexes.
The new model will go beyond conventional passenger waiting areas, with provisions for shopping and business complexes, food courts, gaming and entertainment zones and other commercial facilities.
TGSRTC has also invited interested business operators to approach the corporation for allocation of shops and commercial spaces in the proposed complexes.
The project is being taken up with the support of the Telangana government and the transport department. According to the corporation, the initiative is aimed at improving passenger convenience while creating modern transit hubs with commercial and recreational facilities. Construction works are expected to commence shortly.
