Hyderabad: In a move aimed at boosting non-fare revenue and creating new business opportunities, the TGSRTC has announced the leasing of vacant commercial spaces located in bus stations and RTC commercial complexes across the State.
The corporation has identified 694 vacant shops and commercial units in major cities, towns and depot premises and will soon invite tenders for their allotment.
RTC officials said the initiative was designed to attract entrepreneurs, retailers and established businesses looking to expand their operations in high-footfall locations.
They noted that bus stations and commercial complexes witness the movement of lakhs of passengers every day, making them ideal destinations for businesses. Establishments such as restaurants, food courts, supermarkets, branded showrooms and small retail outlets are expected to benefit from the steady flow of potential customers.
The corporation has uploaded details of its commercial properties on its official website, tgsrtc.telangana.gov.in, allowing prospective tenants to access information about the available spaces.
The online database includes details such as the location of commercial units, occupancy status, lease periods, rental values and existing tenants.
