Thalapathy Vijay joins hands with Vamshi Paidipally, Dil Raju

Hyderabad: Popular Tamil star Vijay, who is known as Thalapathy by his fans, will be teaming up with Telugu filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally for his upcoming movie. The movie will be bankrolled jointly by producer Dil Raju and Shirish under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Sharing the update, director Vamshi tweeted saying, “#Thalapathy66… Sharing with you all an exciting update about my next film with The #Thalapathy @actorvijay Sir, Produced by #DilRaju garu & #Shirish garu under my home banner @SVC_official.”

The collaboration between Vijay, Vamshi and Dil Raju has already created a buzz about the project. Soon after the confirmation of the project, Dil Raju flew to Tirumala to offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara Swamy. Vamshi is known for his movies like ‘Oopiri’, ‘Maharshi’, ‘Yevadu’ and ‘Brundavanam’.

The project is expected to take off soon after completion of Vijay’s actioner ‘Beast’ which also stars Pooja Hegde and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Star Vijay was last seen in ‘Master’ which was a multi-starrer featuring Vijay Sethupathy.
