Thanish, Miriam annex titles in AITA U-12 Championship

Hyderabad: Top seed Thanish Vapanapally and second seed Alyin Miriam Cornelip, both of Karnataka, annexed the boys and girls singles titles respectively in the AITA Championship Under-12 series that concluded at Ash Tennis Academy, Shamirpet.

Results:
Girls: Semifinals : Alyin Miriam Cornelip (Kar) bt Aditi Paturi (TN) 9-3; Yashitha Ereti (TS) bt Shrushi Suryavanshi (Mah) 9-4; Final: Miriam Cornelip bt Yashitha Eriti 6-2, 7-5.

Boys: Hruthik Katakam (TS)bt Nikhilesh Pappula (TS) 9-0; Thanish Vapanapally bt SU Rohit Kumr (TN) 9-2; Final: Thanish Vapanapally bt Hruhtik Katakam 2-6, 6-3,6-4.
