The Hindu’s former news editor PK Kurien passes away
PK Kurien worked in Newstime and The Tribune before joining The Hindu in Hyderabad, where he worked till his retirement in 2008

Hyderabad: PK Kurien, retired News Editor of The Hindu, Hyderabad, passed away on Thursday at NIMS. He was 78. He is survived by wife, a son and a daughter.
Kurien worked in Newstime between 1984 and 1994 and from then till 2008 in The Hindu. Before that he had worked in The Tribune. He was a nice man with a smiling face and was a thorough professional and gentleman.
