The Pet Detective on Zee5 from November 28
Zee5 will start streaming an action-comedy film The Pet Detective from November 28 onwards.
Hyderabad: An action comedy ‘The Pet Detective’ is all set to stream on ZEE5 from Friday (November 28). The film will be available in Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi.
Directed by Praneesh Vijayan, the film features Sharaf U Dheen in the lead role, also making his debut as producer. The cast includes Vinayakan, Vinay Forrt, Anupama Parameswaran, Shyam Mohan, and Joemon Jyothir. The Pet Detective follows Tony Jose Alula (Sharaf U Dheen), a determined yet under performing detective, who tackles a missing-pet case to prove his abilities.
The plot quickly escalates into a series of chaotic events involving international smugglers, kidnappers, a missing child, a Mexican mafia don, exotic fish, and a rival police inspector competing for the same woman. The film promises eccentric humour, wild coincidences, and a comedic climax inspired by Priyadarshan’s classics, making it an entertaining choice for families and comedy enthusiasts.
