Hyderabad: The Premia Academy organised the premiere of its highly anticipated second production, ‘Sitayan – The Shadow of Flame,’ presented by the institution’s dedicated cultural wing, Premia Playhouse.

The play offered a bold, contemporary reimagining of Sita’s journey, moving beyond traditional narratives to highlight her inner strength, trials, and unwavering spirit. Following the success of its debut season, the cultural wing returns with a narrative designed to challenge historical perspectives, exploring the ‘Shadow of the Flame’ and portraying Sita as a timeless symbol of resilience in a production where her strength speaks louder than words.

The evening served as a premier platform for students of The Premia Academy to showcase their artistic growth alongside an elite panel of theatre veterans and cultural icons, led by theatre personalities Mohammad Ali Baig, Vaishali Bisht, and Aarti Phatarphekar.
