Canadian singer-songwriter The Weeknd, aka Abel Tesfaye, has released new music. The ‘Blinding Lights’ hitmaker dropped a new track, ‘Take My Breath’, which is the first song from his upcoming album. Fans cannot contain their excitement, and have been sharing the song on social media.
According to Just Jared, GQ’s Mark Anthony Green has already listened to the upcoming album and he said, “‘It became nearly impossible to find something else to listen to. Everything else sounded soft. Or didn’t groove enough. Or felt too happy. Or too sad. It was clear to me that this isn’t just the album The Weeknd has always wanted to make; it’s the album we’ve always wanted him to make.”
In the new song, The Weeknd sings, “Take my breath away / And make it last forever, babe / Do it now or never, babe / Take my breath away / Nobody does it better, babe / Bring me close to heaven, babe / Take my breath.”
