Hyderabad: Cash and gold ornaments were stolen from the residence of former MP Renuka Chowdhary at Banjara Hills. According to a complaint lodged with the Banjara Hills police, some persons made away with gold ornaments worth Rs 3.5 lakh and Rs 3 lakh in cash that was kept in the house. The complaint was made by Subba Reddy, personal assistant to Renuka Chowdhary who is presently staying in New Delhi.
Based on the complaint, the police have booked a case and are investigating. The police suspect that three persons who worked there could be behind the burglary.
