Hyderabad: Hyderabad, the city of Pearls, is known for its historic legacy and cultural diversity. This 400-year-old metropolis is not only blessed with monuments but also with delicious food, which is an amalgamation of Mughal, Turkish and Arabic cuisines as well.
Mughals, apparently, used to serve 26 types of biryanis to their guests but now we are left with only a few. Do you to know how the Irani chai has travelled all the way from Iran to Hyderabad.
With hundreds of restaurants and countless street vendors, exploring the food in Hyderabad takes a lot of time and effort, but thanks to the food bloggers Manideep and Ramya whose page on Instagram called @thehungryindians with almost 70k followers shares a lot of valuable information to food enthusiasts and connoisseurs.
The duo started a series called ‘The hidden gems of Hyderabad’ in which they visit the oldest places in Hyderabad. From being bloggers and writers, Manideep and Ramya have now become historians to show us the Hyderabad’s rich food heritage. With this series, they just scratched the surface and will be updating many titbits while sharing their experiences.
