Hyderabad: Indian team head coach Gautam Gambhir says that there should be no road shows.
Referring to the Bengaluru tragedy where many Royal Challengers Bengaluru fans died in a stampede during the celebrations of the IPL victory on Wednesday, Gambhir said he does not think they should have road shows.
“In the future, we can be more sure about this. My heart goes out to the people who lost their lives. We are all equally responsible for this,” the former India opener said.
“All I can say is, we need to be responsible. Every life matters. If we are not ready to hold a road show, we should not do that. You cannot lose 11 people,” he said at the media briefing in Mumbai before the Indian team left for the England tour on Thursday.
