Hyderabad: You must have heard of several creative tricks for cheating in an examination. But this one will surely blow your mind up. A gang of five used ‘bluetooth slippers’ to cheat at the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET).
According to reports, the accused students fitted calling devices – SIM cards – inside specially-crafted slippers to cheat in the exam. This was paired with a micro-earpiece that was fitted deep into candidates’ ears to help them listen to answers.
A group of five people were arrested and interrogated throughout the day in Bikaner. The cops then revealed that the gang had sold modified slippers for a whopping price of Rs 6 lakh each. According to reports, these battery-operated Bluetooth slippers were sold to over 25 students in the city.
“One of the accused in the case is a suspended Sub-Inspector and we are making efforts to arrest him,” said IG Bikaner Prafulla Kumar.
After the interrogation, the cops revealed that the mastermind of the operation – Tulsi Ram Kaler, runs a coaching centre in Bikaner. Well, several netizens soon quizzed if he coached cheating tricks or subjects for the exam.
In fact, several netizens were also impressed with the mastermind invention which started yet another meme fest on social media platforms.
