Telugu pop singer-actor Smitha has said that she was just blown away by Sai Dharam Tej’s new film ‘Republic’.
She heaped praises on director Deva Katta saying that his flick is beyond politics and a journey that everyone needs to experience. In her tweet on Thursday, Smitha praised Dharam Tej saying the film is his best so far.
“Republic is @devakatta’s new Prasthanam. I’m just mind blown at what I saw last night @IamSaiDharamTej best ever. #Republic is beyond politics & a journey everyone needs to experience. I’m hungover & waiting to hear from you all. @aishu_dil @meramyakrishnan @IamJagguBhai (sic).”
The tweet came after natural star Nani tweeted on Thursday giving the first review of sorts. A special screening of ‘Republic’ was held in the city for celebrities and prominent people in the industry on the previous day.
‘Republic’ could be Sai Dharam Tej’s biggest break after his movie ‘Chitralahari’, which was praised by audiences as well as critics. Even though there had been two films that were released after ‘Chitralahari’, none of them could make an impact at the box office.
