Thousands join Sri Radha Govinda Ratha Yatra in Kokapet
Thousands of devotees participated in the fourth annual Sri Radha Govinda Ratha Yatra organised by the Hare Krishna Movement in Kokapet on Saturday. The colourful procession, marked by sankirtans and prasadam distribution, showcased devotion, unity and community spirit.

Hyderabad: The Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad, celebrated the 4th Annual Sri Radha Govinda Ratha Yatra in Kokapet on Saturday, drawing thousands of devotees into a vibrant display of devotion, tradition, and communal harmony. The chariot carrying the divine Deities of Sri Sri Radha Govinda was pulled with great enthusiasm by devotees from all walks of life, accompanied by resounding Sankirtans and the generous distribution of prasadam throughout the procession.
The Ratha Yatra that commenced at Sri Krishna Goseva Mandal Goshala near Gandipet Main Road “Y” Junction, proceeded through Kokapet “X” Road, Allu Studios, 7 Hills Gated Community, Rajapushpa Atria, and Golden Mile Road, culminating at the Hare Krishna Heritage Tower project site.
Over 500 devotees pulled the chariot in unison, symbolizing collective dedication and community solidarity, supported by volunteers, announcement systems, and dedicated safety teams.
The event was graced by Justice Nagesh Bheemapaka, Judge, High Court for the State of Telangana, as the chief guest and presided over by Sriman Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhuji, President of the Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad, and Regional President of The Akshaya Patra Foundation (Telangana & Andhra Pradesh).
