Three arrested for allegedly attacking woman over family property dispute in Hyderabad
Tappachabutra police arrested three persons for allegedly attempting to murder a woman over a family property dispute. The suspects reportedly attacked Shameem Begum with a knife at her residence, following which police registered a case based on her complaint and launched an investigation.
Hyderabad: The Tappachabutra police arrested three persons on Thursday for allegedly attempting to murder a woman over a family property dispute.
The suspects- Mohd Dastagir Shareef alias Pappu, Mohd Gulam Nabi Qureshi and Mohd Osman alias Addu allegedly attacked Shameem Begum with a butcher knife at her residence on July 27.
Police said the victim was chased and stabbed in the abdomen after she tried to escape, while her husband was assaulted when he intervened. Based on her complaint, the Tappachabutra police booked a case and arrested the trio. Investigation is on.
