Three arrested for motorcycle theft in Hyderabad; 13 bikes recovered
Banjara Hills police arrested three men in connection with a motorcycle theft racket and recovered 13 stolen two-wheelers. Two of them stole bikes from public places, while the third bought them at throwaway prices. All were remanded to custody.
Hyderabad: The Banjara Hills police on Saturday arrested three persons who were allegedly involved in theft of motorcycles from public places in the city.
The police recovered 13 motorcycles from them.
The arrested are Nimmathi Srikanth (32) and E Naveen (22), both suspected of stealing bikes in the city and Shaik Kaleem, who was purchasing the stolen motorcycles from them.
According to the ACP Banjara Hills, S Venkat Reddy, the two thieves Srikanth and Naveen moved around at public places and on getting an opportunity they used to steal the motorcycles. Later they sold the vehicles of Kaleem at a throwaway price.
The three persons were produced before the court and remanded.
