Adilabad: In separate incidents, three persons were arrested on charges of obstructing the duties of policemen on Monday. SP Akhil Mahajan, in a statement, said that cases were booked against three persons, Jadav Vishal, Kamble Vishal, and Syed Riyaz, in different incidents that occurred in Utnoor, Narnoor, Ichoda and police station areas, respectively.

The accused persons were apprehended and produced before courts and then were sent to judicial remand. Instructions were given to concerned police to prevent recurrence of similar offences. Akhil warned of stern action against those who disrupt the duties of police. He sought cooperation of the public with the police in discharging legitimate duties. Indulging in assaults against police and creating obstacles to police officials would be considered serious offences, he cautioned.
