Three arrested for robbing woman near Kattedan in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Mailardevpally police arrested three youths for allegedly robbing a woman of her mobile phone and cash near Kattedan and recovered part of the stolen property.
According to the police, on June 26, the victim, who runs a pan shop at APCO Colony, was returning home after closing her shop when three persons on an Activa scooter allegedly assaulted her and snatched her Vivo mobile phone and Rs 4,500 before fleeing.
A case was registered, and the police analysed CCTV footage and used technical evidence to identify the suspects. On Tuesday, the police apprehended the three accused and recovered the stolen Vivo mobile phone, Rs 1,200 in cash, and the Activa scooter allegedly used in the offence.
