Three arrested in University of Hyderabad laptop theft case
Police have arrested three men in connection with the theft of 60 laptops from the University of Hyderabad on February 8. Acting on a tip-off, officers recovered all stolen laptops, two cars, and mobile phones. Investigation continues.

Hyderabad: A major laptop theft at the University of Hyderabad (UoH), which was reported earlier this month, was cracked by the police within days, with three suspects arrested and the stolen property recovered on Monday.
Acting on a tip-off that the suspects were taking shelter in TNGOs Colony, a special crime team has nabbed the three suspects identified as R Chandrasekhar, Sai Charan and Ashwin Rao.
The trio had stolen 60 laptops from the UoH premises on February 8. Following a complaint from the university management, the Gachibowli police booked a case and took up an investigation.
Police recovered two cars, all 60 stolen laptops and three mobile phones from their possession. Further investigation is ongoing.
