Hyderabad: A three-day Kalaa Spandan Art Fair, an initiative of Indian art promoters, commenced at Kalinga Cultural Centre here on Friday. The fair enabled the art fraternity to discover creations as well as unveil untold and unimagined contemporary artworks from various corners of the globe.
The fair, which concludes on Saturday, is showcasing a variety of artworks in all mediums, ranging from figurative to abstract paintings, alcohol ink art, oil, water, acrylic colour and mix medium paintings, resin art, glass art, Madhubani art, Mandala art, gold art, sculpture, ceramic art, decorative arts, and traditional art, a press release said.
Several professional masters and emerging artistic talents are exhibiting from various corners of the nation. More than 100 artists and galleries displayed around 2,000 artworks from all over the nation, with 70 per cent of the participating artisans coming from Telangana. The entry is free.
