Three electricity employees killed as car rams into lorry in Karimnagar
Three electricity department employees from Nizamabad were killed and two others injured after their car rammed into a stationary lorry on under-construction NH 563 at Thadikal village in Karimnagar district. Police registered a case against the lorry driver.

Karimnagar: Three employees from the electricity department-Nizamabad district were killed on the spot, while two others sustained injuries after their car rammed into a stationary lorry on the under-construction NH 563 at Thadikal village in Shankarapatnam mandal late on Thursday night.
Huzurabad Inspector V Srinivas said that Bandari Vishweshwar Rao (38), a junior lineman from Warangal, Gandhe Prabhu (33), a lineman from Nizamabad, and Penjari Sudhakar (38), a watchman, suffered fatal injuries after the car crashed into the lorry around 9.30 pm. Praveen and Murali, both linemen also belonging to Nizamabad, received injuries. They were immediately shifted to a hospital in Karimnagar. They were staffers of a 400 KV power substation at Yanampalli village in Dichpally mandal.
Based on a complaint from Bhanu Prakash, brother-in-law of Vishweshwar Rao, a case has been registered against Sriramula Ramesh, the driver of the lorry. Investigations have been taken up.
